Weekly Reflection – My experience on WordPress so far

My experience so far with WordPress has had its ups and downs! At the very beginning WordPress had a steep learning curve; setting up my website felt overwhelming I had to navigate themes, layout options, understand the dashboard and had to figure out how to add posts, and edit them. I started to get more comfortable by experimenting with the different features, making my own posts and watching brief youtube videos on how to navigate certain features. Since I am doing two courses through WordPress it made it much more complicated in the beginning regarding organizational purposes. I have now learned how to structure my posts, edit content when posted and organize it how I like it. While it has challenged me, using WordPress has been a rewarding experience I have learned a lot and it is really cool to reflect on this semester so far by being able to scroll and look at all the assignments I have published so far. Between ED339 and ED337 I have become more confident in my digital skills, have improved my time management skils and feel more comfortable working with platforms that are brand new to me!
